Sharon Harms

Sharon is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She brings many years of experience as a former registered nurse working with individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges. In her counselling practice, Sharon helps adults build resilience and well-being as they navigate life’s challenges. She takes a holistic approach, promoting mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual health. Her counselling style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. Drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Sharon helps clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, regulate emotions, explore values, and develop healthy coping strategies for lasting change.

Christian Counselling
For those seeking a faith-based approach, Sharon is trained in biblical studies and is able to thoughtfully integrate Christian perspectives with evidence-based psychological approaches to support clients in their Christian faith journey.
